1 Our Commitment

Johmarg Strips is committed to respecting and upholding fundamental human rights across our business, our workplace and our supply chain. This statement reflects our commitment to the principles set out in the South African Constitution's Bill of Rights and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and applies to our employees, contractors, suppliers and business partners.

2 Fair Labour Practices

We are committed to fair and lawful employment practices, including:

• Compliance with South African labour legislation, including the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and the Labour Relations Act;
• Payment of fair and legally compliant wages for all employees;
• Reasonable working hours and rest periods; and
• Respect for employees' right to freedom of association.

3 Health & Safety

The health and safety of our employees, contractors and visitors is a priority. We maintain safe working conditions in our manufacturing and operational environments, provide appropriate training and protective equipment where required, and continuously work to identify and reduce workplace risks.

5 No Forced or Child Labour

We do not use, and will not knowingly tolerate, forced labour, bonded labour, or child labour in any part of our business or supply chain. We expect the same standard from our suppliers and business partners.

6 Our Supply Chain

We work to source materials, including aluminium, brass, stainless steel and PVC, from reputable, ISO-approved suppliers. Where we become aware of practices within our supply chain that are inconsistent with this statement, we will engage with the supplier to address the issue, and reserve the right to end the business relationship where serious concerns are not resolved.

We aim to be a responsible corporate citizen within the communities in which we operate, and to conduct our manufacturing and business activities in a manner that is mindful of our environmental impact, including responsible use of materials and waste reduction where practicable.
